Rachael is an experienced Foot Health Professional (FHP), having qualified in 2008 and worked in North Yorkshire ever since. She joined Castle Clinic in 2021 to help support our team of podiatrists and Foot Health Practitioners.

Rachael prides herself in creating a relaxed atmosphere during treatment sessions. Like all our team, she regularly attends CPD courses to update her skills & knowledge, of all things feet; ensuring you have the best care, from heel to toe. The services that Rachael offers includes toenail trimming, cracked heel treatment, care of damaged nails, callus and corn removal, non-surgical management of involuted/ingrown nails as well as foot health checks.

When not at work, Rachael fosters cats and kittens, grows her own vegetables and escapes for the weekend in her camper van.

I have found Seb to be very informative, showing me pictures and explaining how the muscles and ligaments work, to help me understand what is going on with my hip and knee. I have been attending Castle Clinic over a period of many years seeing Sandra Shackleton, the HEALTH KINESIOLOGIST. Sandra is an experienced, friendly and down to earth person who has an immense knowledge of the human body. HK is my first port of call for help from allergies to matters of physical and emotional well-being. What I like about HK is the non invasive approach. It simply involves lying on a couch fully clothed while Sandra muscle tests and helps the body to heal itself from ailments, worries and fears we might have about ourselves. It can also be used preventably. I would highly recommend Sandra.

I’ve just had a course of shock wave therapy with Seb at Castle Clinic and cannot praise it highly enough. I suffered from Trochanteric Bursitis for 2 years and needed to use a walking stick. Now I don’t need to use a stick when out walking and even managed to climb the Spanish Steps on a trip to Rome recently without any pain. It has made a huge difference to my mobility.
