Helen is a certified yoga teacher who primarily specialises in Vinyasa yoga, Hatha yoga and breathwork. She also has a keen interest in anatomy, having completed courses in anatomy for yoga, and somatics (a holistic approach to the mind-body connection which emphasises internal physical connection and experience). She encourages her students to develop at their own individual pace, catering to all levels of experience. Her classes are fun, challenging and always conclude with a 5-minute session of mindfulness and relaxation.
Having grown up, worked and lived internationally, Helen is all about recognising the present moment, adjustments in perspective & energy and embracing continuous change. She is a strong advocate of meditation in motion and doesn’t believe you have to sit and be still to find peace of mind.
Through a combination of high-energy Vinyasa yoga, slower paced Hatha yoga and restorative flows, Helen’s goal is to help you come home to your body, recognise and improve your mental and physical strength and deepen the mind-body connection.
