Tsuboki is a Japanese facial massage that blends techniques of Japan with the therapeutic benefits of acupressure. This unique fusion offers a pathway to natural beauty, relaxation and holistic well-being. Tsuboki, meaning “acupressure” in Japanese, seamlessly combines the artful practices of precise pressure and soothing massage techniques applied to specific points on the face. This approach aligns with the belief that a balanced flow of vital energy, known as “qi,” is pivotal for maintaining radiant skin and overall health.
What to Expect
The session begins with a consultation so that the practitioner can learn about your health history, any specific concerns you have regarding your facial health and any preferences you have regarding massage pressure and techniques. The practitioner may then gently cleanse your face to remove any makeup, dirt or impurities. The practitioner will then begin the four-stage massage incorporating a combination of deep and superficial massage strokes, stimulation of specific acupressure points and lymphatic drainage. These techniques are designed to promote circulation, release tension, improve the appearance of the skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Post-treatment care
After your treatment we suggest that you drink some water and avoid heavy meals or strenuous activities immediately after the session. Allow yourself time to rest and relax to help maximise the benefits of your treatment.
