ALISON LYON-MURPHY MSc.Physiotherapy, Bsc. Hons Acupuncture
About Alison
Alison originally graduated as a physiotherapist, working at Leeds Teaching Hospital’s Trust. After many years treating neurological patients she moved to Huddersfield University as a Senior Physiotherapy Lecturer. During this time, she gained her Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy.
Alison used acupuncture in her physio practice and having seen the effects it could have on pain she decided to study it in more depth. She enrolled on an Honours Degree course at the Northern College of Acupuncture and after the first year knew this was what she wanted to do full time. She left teaching and after graduating with a First Class BSc (Hons) Degree in Acupuncture she set up her practice.
